Hope is a domestic American Bobtail/Tabby-mix female cat with a 5? tail and muscular build who is a perfect partner for someone seeking companionship. Hope was rescued from a shelter where won over the hearts of the staff and they repaid her by allowing her to stay beyond her numbered days because she is such a sweet and affectionate cat. Once in my home it was evident that Hope is very confident, loving, and gentle.
Hope enjoys having her own fluffy bed that is situated so the she has a view outside and that makes her happy enough, but nothing like her happiness to have my full attention when I join her at night to sleep. She shows her manners when she patiently and quietly sits on the floor near the bed waiting for me to invite her to join me on the bed. She loves to have her head rubbed and makes sure she gets her five minutes and then she settles into her kitty bed and later sneaks over for spooning.
I was surprised to learn that Hope is 3 years old (birth 12-6-09) because she plays and dashes about like a kitten. ?Bobtails are slow to develop, reaching maturity somewhere between two and three years. Like bobcats, the Bobtail's muscular hind legs are slightly longer than the front legs and the Bobtail's most noted feature, its succinct tail, is one-third to one-half the length of an ordinary cat's. Very people-oriented, they are not above demanding human attention by meowing or commandeering available laps.?
Hope is looking for a lifetime partner to share her love with. She has received inoculations, deworm and flea medicine, spade, and has a microchip. Do you have a space in your heart and home for Hope?
